Against Democratic Freedom: A Brief Taxonomy of the Threat
Abstract
This essay examines the defining characteristics of three positions opposed to the liberal project today—anti-liberalism, illiberalism, and post-liberalism—by identifying their similarities and divergences along a continuum ordered by their respective proximity to, or distance from, liberalism.
