Abstract
Within the philosophical current of speculative realism, one can see a strong influence of Islamic philosophy, in terms of concepts developed in it. In the case of the philosopher Graham Harman, with the conceptualization of the term vicarious causation, he came to elaborate a causal theory, which has its referents in the theory of causality of Islamic theological-philosophical thought, which encompasses both âsh'arî and 'irfân or Islamic mystic.
