Abstract
The ideas that constitute the concept of work seem more and more unattainable since the beginning of the 20th century. In order to open some kind of path, the present research will be oriented. That is to say, several of the referents that are considered important with respect to the subject will be brought into dialogue with the aim of questioning the phenomenon of work from different positions and perhaps shed light on the dimensions that appear in the problem. For this it is unthinkable not to mention Karl Marx, Martin Heidegger, Georgy Lukacs, Herbert Marcusse, or a relatively recent work such as Rahel Jaeggi's Alienation. At the same time, a dialogue with the works of Andre Gorz, French philosopher and journalist who devoted several texts reflecting on work and alienation, is indispensable.
